CarNoti — your vehicle’s complete history in one digital service

CarNoti helps vehicle owners keep a complete history and manage maintenance in one service. SoftWars built the product from scratch, from naming, logo, and UX/UI to the application, backend, admin panel, and public release.

About the product

More than a service book — the complete vehicle history in one place

CarNoti was created to solve a simple problem: important vehicle information is often scattered across receipts, service centre messages, photos, and notes. The product brings past events, upcoming work, and documents into one continuous history available from a phone or browser. Instead of disconnected records, owners get a clear view of their vehicle’s condition and maintenance that can be shared or transferred together with the car.

What SoftWars delivered

Built from scratch, from the first idea to continued growth

Concept and positioning

We shaped the product idea, its key user journeys, and the logic for future development. We also created the CarNoti name and logo.

UX/UI and product design

We designed the experience for iOS, Android, and Web and created a consistent interface that keeps complex vehicle information clear and easy to use.

Application, backend, and integrations

We developed the cross-platform application, backend, and data exchange with the admin panel so every part of the system works as one product.

Launch and continuous development

We prepared CarNoti for public release, continue to support it, and introduce improvements based on the needs of the product team and its users.

CarNoti features

What CarNoti gives vehicle owners

Digital garage

  • Users add vehicles and keep essential details such as make, model, year, VIN, licence plate, mileage, fuel type, and photos.

History with documents

  • Repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, insurance, refuelling, and other events form a timeline with photos, receipts, and documents.

Plans and reminders

  • Upcoming work is scheduled by date or mileage, helping users stay on top of maintenance, diagnostics, and insurance renewals.

Expense and mileage analytics

  • The service shows total and monthly expenses, cost breakdowns, and mileage trends, while history can be exported as a PDF.

Shared access and vehicle transfer

  • Owners can share a vehicle with family members, drivers, mechanics, or employees, set view or edit permissions, and transfer the complete history to a new owner.

Additional services and support

  • Subscription plans, support, a fuel calculator, and an option to apply for vehicle insurance extend the driver’s everyday experience.
Product decisions

Four decisions that made CarNoti a connected product

CarNoti was designed as a connected product rather than a collection of separate screens, serving both vehicle owners and the team developing it. Four key decisions brought together a clear user experience, shared data, and manageable internal operations.

01

The history belongs to the vehicle

Events, documents, and expenses form one continuous record that can be maintained, shared with another user, or transferred to a new owner.

02

One product logic across platforms

A shared product model for iOS, Android, and Web keeps vehicles, records, reminders, and analytics consistent across platforms.

03

Access reflects each user’s role

Owners can share a vehicle with family members, drivers, mechanics, or employees and decide who can view or edit its data.

04

The admin panel supports growth

The team works with users, purchases, support requests, and insurance enquiries, while analytics shows how the product is being used.

Internal operations

An admin panel for supporting and growing the product

We created a dedicated admin panel/CRM connected to the application and backend. It lets the CarNoti team manage users and support requests, review registration and purchase analytics, track traffic from advertising campaigns, and process insurance enquiries. This gives the product a manageable operational workspace: support stays organised, while data helps guide the next improvements.

Outcome

From an idea to a live product that keeps evolving

SoftWars took CarNoti through the complete product journey, from concept, naming, logo, and design to the application, backend, admin panel, and public release. The product is now available on iOS, Android, and Web, while our team continues to support it and introduce improvements as new needs emerge. For SoftWars, it demonstrates a long-term partnership where product thinking, design, and development work together.
